This will be a fun day with the Jaguars attracting attention of the men that will also hopefully be captured by the Prostate Awareness theme. The Prostate Cancer Foundation will have their Educational Caravan present to provide information to men about the risks of prostate cancer and to raise awareness of how this can be screened, tested and treated.
There will not be an assembly point before going to the Catalina Bay / Hobsonville Point Farmer's Market. Access is via SH 18 Hobsonville exit that enters Brigham Creek Rd (whether coming from the North or South). Turn left at T into Hobsonville Rd, continue to intersection with Te Rito Rd on your right and go straight ahead into Hobsonville Point Rd. Stay on this road till you have Wallace Rd on your right and Hobsonville Point Rd becomes Hudson Bay Rd which then bears left leaving Launch Rd on your right. Continue down to the waterfront with the Catalina Bay Farmer's Market on your left. Parking will be around the Hobsonville Yacht Club building.
Once your car is parked you may stroll around the board walks and jetties of the Hobsonville Point precinct and visit all the stalls and cafes of the Farmer's market area. Some people also choose to occupy the day by taking a ferry in to Auckland CBD/return.
