Meet at the BP Services, Rosehill/Drury, Southern Motorway at 0900 for 0930 departure for a gentle drive to the Museum, there is plenty of parking behind the building. We will arrive about 1000 with museum entry planned for 1015 so you will have chance to nip around the corner to Queen St to find a coffee if you need one! Museum entry fee is $10 per person, correct amount in cash!
We depart the Museum at 1145 for the short drive to the Castaway's Resort and Restaurant where we are expected at 1200 midday for lunch. Let's hope we will be enjoying an early Spring day so we can enjoy a beach walk after lunch! They have an extensive 'All Day Menu' to choose from. We do not need to pre-order, however I suggest you go to their website www.castaways.co.nz and search for and peruse the menu so you have a good idea in advance of what you want to order. Write your choices on a piece of paper as a memory jogger to speed up the ordering process!
