The event opens to the public at 1000 and finishes about 1400. We can take as many Jaguars as we like, there is plenty of space to park under the trees. To get a good spot we need to be there as a group by 0930, so I suggest we assemble at the Lloyd-Elsmore Park carpark off Cascades Road, Pakuranga (opposite home #37) at 0845 with a departure time of 0910.
They will have food trucks and coffee trucks on site to feed the attendees, but you could bring some food and drink of your own for am/pm tea/coffee and lunch if you prefer. Be prepared to make a useful donation to the Charitable cause and to enjoy a stroll around the gardens and view the 26 sculptures of the arboretum. Bring a folding table and chair to make it easier to enjoy lunch in comfort. Sunscreen, dark glasses and an umbrella as a sun-shade may be needed depending on the weather forecast!
If there is time a 'Sunday drive' may also be incorporated into the day's activities. (that would be optional).
