Peter's Hobsonville Point Pétanque and Picnic 15-3-2026
There is no 'run' to drive before or after this event, however the Catalina farmer's market nearby is open from 8.30am to 2.00 pm and the Chichester Cottage is on the Te Ara Manawa walkway if you care to stretch your legs around the local beaches before or after the Pétanque and Picnic.
Peter is providing four sets of Boules, so you just need to bring folding seats, sunscreen and a picnic lunch and drinks, then get yourselves into teams for the Pétanque competition, for which there is a prize!
from the South access is via the SW motorway HWY16 then right onto SH 18 at Westgate. From the North take Upper Harbour Highway SH18 off SH1. Check your map or GPS! Bear Park driveway 190 Buckley Ave (opposite house number 127) is used for access to park your car then take a short walk to the north to find Chichester Cottage/shed amongst the trees.
