Lunch at the Historic Jolly Farmer/ Murphy's Law Irish Bar 10-9-25
300 Great South Road
Drury 2113
Murphy's Law Irish Bar/ O'Malley's is a very historic NZ Pub. It obtained the first and original liquor license in NZ in 1840! It has in the past been destroyed by fire then rebuilt then named the Jolly Farmer, by which name many people still know it.
This will be your last opportunity to have a Club lunch here as the Hotel is closing at the end of September to be demolished to make way for a Shopping Mall!
There is plenty of onsite parking. Yvonne Hogan, Proprietress, says the Menu will be slightly restricted but most of the pub favourites will still be available. The main restaurant closes at the end of August but dining is still available in the Sports Bar area, where we will be.
Larry Olive will be event manager for the day.
